Acting & LAMDA Classes at
The Vineyard

Please note: LAMDA classes are available to any child from any school who is in Y1-Y6

Our acting classes combine script work, character development & drama exercises to reach your child’s full potential.

One hour of the class focuses on drama and acting. Using carefully constructed lesson plans to teach students how to use their voice, body and imagination to act on stage.

The final 30 minutes uses the LAMDA syllabus to teach students new skills. In January 2024, students have the option to start preparing for a LAMDA exam. All examinations are optional and can be discussed with our LAMDA teachers.

At Elizabeth Samuels we believe Drama is important for children because it's a key part of developing confidence, listening skills and how to work as a team. We offer LAMDA examinations as it expands vocabulary, boosts reading and improves memorisation. End of year exams in July are optional and subject to an additional examination fee which is paid directly to LAMDA.

Summer Term 2024 Dates

• Saturday 20th April to Saturday 29th June (no class on 1st June)

• Venue: The Vineyard School, Friars Stile Rd, Richmond TW10 6NE

• Group classes of 90 minutes (max of 12 students)

• We also offer individual classes of 30 minutes (1:1) = £300 per term (please get in touch as we have availability from 1pm onwards)

• Our 90 minute classes combine acting, drama and LAMDA. Our class gives students the opportunity to take an exam once a year.

We strongly advise all parents and guardians to read our LAMDA terms and conditions. Please note placement of your child is only guaranteed once full payment has been made. We do not offer sibling discounts, credits or refunds for our LAMDA lessons.
