LAMDA at Waldegrave School
LAMDA is a world-renowned drama school that has helped learners worldwide become confident speakers since the 1880s. As the leader in graded examinations, LAMDA sets the standard for speech, communication and drama across the globe.
At Waldegrave, our LAMDA lessons are designed with secondary school students in mind. Whether students are keen performers or simply want to boost their confidence, LAMDA offers something for everyone. Lessons are a fun and supportive way to develop valuable skills like public speaking, self-expression and communication — all of which are useful both in school and beyond.
At Elizabeth Samuels, we believe LAMDA coaching is invaluable for helping young people develop skills they can carry into higher education and their future careers.
Students have the option to take a LAMDA exam, which takes place once a year in the summer term. All examinations are optional and can be discussed with our LAMDA teachers.
Classes take place at Waldegrave both during the school day and after school.
